Beth lectures in the Computer Science and Engineering Dept. of the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering, and is Director of the UCSD Center for Teaching Development.

Dr. Diane Baxter

Dr. Diance Baxter

Diane Baxter is the Director of Education at the San Diego Supercomputer Center at UCSD.  Before joining SDSC in February of 2005, she developed environmental science education programs at the North Carolina Aquarium, Birch Aquarium at Scripps, the Pfleger Institute of Environmental Research, and Quail Botanical Gardens.

Ange Mason

Ange coordinates the administrative responsibilities for the ComPASS program. Ange has been at SDSC since its beginning over 25 years ago.

Pat Giovengo teaches at both the high school and college level. Pat teaches computer science at Grossmont High School and also teaches graphic design at Cuyamaca Community College.

Kevin Grump teaches computer science and graphic design at Oceanside High School.

Joe Pistone teachers computer science at Sweetwater High School and is also president of the San Diego chapter of the California Science Teacher’s Association.

Mike Skocko, Valhalla High School

Mike Skocko teaches graphic design and 2D and 3D modeling, animation, and game development at Valhalla High School.

Christy Moore, Mira Mesa High School

Christy Moore teaches graphic communications and Tools for the Digital Age at Mira Mesa High School. Christy is also a newly wed as of this past year. Congrats, Christy!

Barbara Adams, Lincoln High School

Barbara Adams teaches information technology classes at Lincoln High School.

Kris Stewart, San Diego State University

Kris Stewart teaches computer science at San Diego State University and also serves as the undergraduate advisor for the Computer Science Dept.
